The Kansas City Industrial Council (KCIC) is committed to promoting sustainable business practices in industrial-based businesses. For the sixth year, KCIC will recognize the businesses and organizations that have made significant investments in green initiatives over the last year with a KCIC Sustainability Award. The award winners will be recognized at the 2016 Sustainability Awards breakfast on Thurs., Oct. 27th at 7:30am in the Chamber of Commerce Board Room in Union Station. Greg Hogsett, with the Mid-America Manufacturing Technology Center, will be the keynote speaker presenting “Energy Management for Business.” Tickets to the awards breakfast are available for $25/pp.
