
KCIC plays an active role in influencing government decisions affecting industry at the city, state and federal levels. Last month, delegates from KCIC and the Missouri and Associated Rivers Coalition embarked on their bi-annual Washington, D.C. trip — the first time they’ve been able to meet with legislators in person in two years. Among the topics discussed were the prioritized projects cited on the Green Sheet, including the Swope Park Industrial Area Bridge, Manchester Trafficway and the Bi-State Sustainable Reinvestment Corridor.
