KCIC recently formalized an agreement with the Kansas City Manufacturing Network (KCMN) that will further the mission of both organizations.
Early in 2016, the KCIC Board held a strategy meeting to help prioritize and plan for the coming years. It was in this meeting that the desire for more educational opportunities for our membership was articulated. Given KCMN’s long history of providing meaningful content through breakfast meetings focused on technical topics, with a management focus by both technical experts and manufacturers themselves, it makes perfect sense for KCIC to team up with KCMN.
Under the agreement, KCIC members will have the following benefits:
-In our normal KCIC communications, you will find an invitation to that month’s KCMN meeting as well as a summary of the topic to be covered.
– Each month, the previous KCMN meeting topic will be summarized so that you can follow up with speakers and/ or resources if the content is relevant to you.
– KCMN leadership will be involved in KCIC member meetings to hear from you as to what topics would be of most interest and most helpful in running your business.
– KCMN members will be invited to KCIC socials which will provide even a greater community of industrial leaders to meet and from which to learn.
