We asked new members some questions about themselves and their business. Read on and get to know the newest members to the Kansas City Industrial Council.
Kirk Kreisel is the Owner of Artisun Solar, located in the Dodson Industrial Area.
Why did you decide to join KCIC?
The majority of our customers are industrial based and within the Kansas City area. We joined KCIC to help those customers better understand what policies and regulations are prohibiting them from reducing their energy costs. KCIC advocates to remove barriers when choosing new technologies that will help industrial districts reduce their overall energy costs. We really wanted to be part of that.
Tell us a bit about you.
I have six kids, ages 5, 9, 13, 16, 17 and 25. They are all girls, except for my nine-year-old.
Where do you live?
I like in Overland Park, KS.

Spending time with my family.
What are you most grateful for?
My family. I’m also incredibly grateful for our employees. They do the heavy lifting when it comes to taking care of our customers on a day-to-day basis.
