Welcome to the new member minute!
Get to know the newest member to the Kansas City Industrial Council.

Bryan Hunter is an investor interested in learning more about Kansas City’s industrial market.
What company are you with?
I am a franchisee of Homevestors of America, the “We Buy Ugly Houses” people, and have been for the past 9 years. I am also an owner/partner of several fireworks stores across the country including Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Louisiana, Alabama, Missouri and Kansas under the Pyro City brand.
What’s your company’s mission and what services do you provide?
My mission is to learn more about Kansas City’s industrial market and how it works. I am always interested in learning about new ideas and information that may affect Kansas City overall. Services provided would be a good sense of humor.
Why did you decide to join KCIC?
I wanted to learn about the needs of the industrial community in Kansas City. I am always interested in exploring other businesses because I find it intriguing to learn what makes them run day to day.
Tell us a bit about you and your family.
I have been married for 22 years and have one son and two daughters. My son is in college at Pittsburg State University and my two daughters are still in high school at St. James Academy, thankfully. I don’t want to be an empty nester yet.
When you’re not at work or spreading the KCIC news, you are…
- Exercising
- Picking up tennis
- Managing properties my wife and I own
- Looking for winter home in Florida or Arizona
- Trying to give back through Catholic Charities
- Spending as much time as I can with family because life is short
What are you most grateful for?
My wife and kids of course. Also, I feel like I have had a lot of luck in my life and I try to remember to be grateful more often.
