Christina Urberger is the Principal/Owner of Interior Landscapes in the Northeast Industrial District.

What’s your company’s mission and what services do you provide?

Interior Landscape’s mission is to do our very best in the commercial furniture industry and to treat everyone the way we would like to be treated while striving for positive growth and making clients our friends along the way. Our services are unique in that we provide space planning and design, 2 & 3D renderings, custom finish selections, reupholstery, project management for the installation and many commercial furniture lines so that we can ensure your space is exactly what you want it to be within your budget.

We work with many group organization contracts and can dive deep for discounts due to our volume. Our customer service also includes warranty processing which I also feel makes us stand out. We stay with you until the job is complete and until you are ready for our assistance again.

Why did you decide to join KCIC?

I felt KCIC has a finger on the pulse in the business community for current and future trends, and that it was filled with truly genuine business partners that have only good intentions.

Tell us a bit about you and your family.

Bob is my partner in life and my partner in business. He’s a retired Post-Production Broadcast Engineer. We have been married for 30 years and have a son, Bob V who is turning 30 this year. He lives in Los Angeles and also has his own company, Radiant Nuclear.

We lived most of our married lives in Crestwood, MO which is located right behind Grant’s Farm. We had an empty nest and huge life changing moments that brought us to deciding to go down the path of business ownership, which brought us to Kansas City.

I have worked in the creative industry my whole life with furniture and design always being my passion. I have had a few paths to get me here including running a construction company and my own business, with Anheuser Busch as my client, while managing many producers and directors. All of which has put me where I am and built my skillset to make all of this possible.

When you’re not at work or spreading the KCIC news, you are …

Boots on the ground pushing for growth for my company or working in my garden, cowgirl cooking, eating way too much delicious food and swimming in my pool.

What are you most grateful for?

Health, the people in my life, the life I’ve had including this new opportunity to finally have my own company and do what I love.
