Jared Reigle is the Director of Marketing at Harcros Chemicals, Inc.
What’s your company’s mission and what services do you provide?
Chemical & Ingredient distribution and manufacturing. Our Way: “Working together, we create a positive impact, and enrich the lives of others.”
Why did you decide to join KCIC?
Harcros has been headquartered in Kansas City for well over 100 years and we have been actively engaged in industry-specific trade organizations. Over the years, with our focus on global expansion, we realized we have not been as engaged at a local level. When we found out about KCIC, it felt like a natural fit to join. In addition to this, our company is highly focused on sustainable operations and product development. The partnership between KCIC and Bridging the Gap, to us, was quite invaluable.
Tell us a bit about you and your family.
I grew up in Florida and moved to the Kansas City area about 12 years ago to work for Harcros. I was lucky enough to meet my spouse here in Kansas City and we just recently welcomed our first child into our family.
When you’re not at work or spreading the KCIC news, you are …
Traveling quite a bit for work or spending time with family. I also sit on a few boards in Kansas City and abroad, including the EarthShine Institute, Aguaviva International. I also manage an NGO, OEDI.org, that works on economic development projects in emerging economies. I am also a member of The Explorers Club. All of which takes up a fair bit of time.
What are you most grateful for?
Most definitely my health and family.
