Each year, KCIC teams with some of the area’s most dynamic organizations to recognize the members of our community who make Kansas City a stronger, better place.
SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS
KCIC’s Sustainability Awards program has recognized and promoted sustainable practices by businesses in the Kansas City metropolitan area, particularly those businesses that are located in industrial areas. For more than nine years, the KCIC has recognized those who have made a significant investment in improving their environment.
BRICK-BY-BRICK AWARDS
Each year, KCIC recognizes individuals and companies that have made outstanding contributions to the economic strength of Kansas City’s industrial areas through the Brick-by-Brick Awards. During the past 30 years, KCIC has bestowed nearly 500 Brick-by-Brick Awards. Considerations for nominations include capital improvements, job creation, improved infrastructure or relocating or expanding in one of the city’s industrial areas.
